In-person activities with expert biologists

Click the SIGN UP link next to the activity that you are interested in. That will pop up an email to the activity leader. Please let them know which activity and what time you want to attend.  After you sign up, the leader will email you details on the exact time and location for the activity.

Saturday April 23rd

Spring Native Bee Walk
We might go off-trail to find good blooms, so wear long pants and comfortable shoes-boots if possible.

Monarchs and Milkweeds
Have a tour of research plots and hear about what we are learning about Monarchs in Oklahoma during their spring and fall migration.

Night Herping
Come join us for a night-time walk to search for reptiles and amphibians! Be prepared to walk a brisk 20-25 minutes each way from park entrance (through an overgrown path), to arrive at the best herping habitat. Wear bug spray, long pants, shoes that are good for walking, but can get wet. Be sure to bring a flashlight or headlamp. All ages welcome!
